dIS•orient Journalzine
During the 1990s, this Los Angeles Based Literary Arts journal was founded by Asian American Pacific Islander rebels. We felt that there was little access for AAPI authors and artists for publication, so we created one.
This is an archival reboot. The zine has been an integral part of the AAPI literary scene since the 90s, and you can review past issues as I scan them for research purposes.
This website will house an archive of past editions of dISorient Journalzine from the 90s, and we will be blogging about the latest work by AAPI artists.
We also feature a calendar of readings throughout the Southern California Basin. I will be updating this part of the website more actively.
